Bosch MethanizAIR offers a solution to the underutilization of CO₂ in biogas production by converting bio-CO₂ into biomethane through methanation under hydrogen supply. This process enables the captured CO₂ to be reused as a renewable fuel – fully compatible with today’s natural gas infrastructure – aiming to close the carbon loop and increase the climate impact of biogas systems.

Bosch Carbon Stack and Oil Exploration is addressing the challenge of efficiently capturing CO₂ from low gas concentrations in high-emitting industries, with a particular focus on FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading). By utilizing electrochemical absorption through specially coated surfaces, the system captures CO₂ from exhaust gases and redirects it for further applications. This technology will generate gas that can be re-injected into submarine wells during oil exploration, turning a major challenge into an opportunity for carbon utilization in the oil extraction process.
