CEO at Bosch Business Innovations

Axel Deniz is CEO of Bosch Business Innovations, Bosch’s global hub for corporate venturing and ecosystem innovation. Together with his team, he drives the development of new business models and partnerships that translate emerging technologies into scalable, sustainable growth.
Previously, Axel led PwC’s international business ecosystem program “Value in Motion” and served as Non-Equity Partner and Head of Corporate Development & Innovation at PwC Germany, where he built the firm’s new innovation and venturing division.
Before joining PwC, Axel founded and led several companies in Europe and the U.S., including LINKELEY and 360Living, and co-founded digital transformation consultancy Von Neuem. He combines over 20 years of experience at the intersection of strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation management.

Markus Sudhoff is a serial entrepreneur, startup coach and investor. With the goal to build the world's most entrepreneurial climate initiative he founded Climate Founders in 2020, already worked with 250+ teams within its programs and invested in 18 of them.

Investment Manager at HTGF

Anna Stetter holds a degree in Business Administration and Business Innovation from the University of St. Gallen. Before joining HTGF in 2023 to focus on start-ups in the construction industry, she spent two years as Head of Operations & Finance at a rising CleanTech start-up in the same sector.

Prof. Dr.- Ing. habil. Carlos Härtel is an angel investor, non-executive board member and independent advisor, working primarily with startups and VCs in the GreenTech space. Formerly, he was Chief Technology Officer at Climeworks AG, a Zurich-based growth company that develops, builds, and operates plants for atmospheric carbon removal. As honorary Professor of Strategy & Innovation, Carlos teaches at Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) both at the Business School and the Department of Engineering and Management.
Before Climeworks, Carlos served as CTO & Chief Innovation Officer for GE Europe. In addition, he was Director of GE’s European Technology Center in Garching near Munich, and President and CEO of GE Germany & Austria. Carlos studied Aerospace Engineering at RWTH Aachen and TU Munich, where he also received his doctorate. He spent several years as researcher at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and as Senior Lecturer and Principal Investigator at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering of ETH Zurich. Carlos is past-President of the European Industrial Research Management Association (EIRMA).

Chief Growth & Communications Officer at ecoLocked

Hoang Anh Nguyen is Chief Growth & Communications Officer at the impact startup ecoLocked, where he leads communications, marketing, and strategic partnerships.

Previously, he was Head of Communications and Sustainable Construction at alchemy, another startup in the construction and concrete sector.

He gained further industry experience as Coordinator for Digitalization and Innovation at the German Property Federation (ZIA).

Hoang Anh also volunteers as a spokesperson for sustainability innovations and startups in construction at solid UNIT e.V. and serves on the board of the Federal Association for Digital Construction (BDBau).

René spent the last four years building up the direct air capture start-up NeoCarbon as CEO and recently stepped down. During his time as CEO, he completed three rounds of financing, scaled the team to 20 employees, and generated seven-figure revenues. His background is in industrial engineering, with a focus on energy and resource management.

CEO of Ucaneo

Florian Tiller is the CEO of Ucaneo, a Berlin based direct air capture startup. Previously, at McKinsey Leap, he built four ventures in AI, robotics, and sustainability.

Before that, Florian founded 2 startups - an NGO organising educational hackathons at universities with up to 600 participants and a 3D printing startup.

With 20+ years’ experience building technology start-ups as a founder and advisor, Trent Greenland is part of the Siemens Energy Ventures team which not only invest in and partners with external startups, but also builds VC-friendly spin-outs to accelerate the energy transition.
